Music and Sound Website Cranks Up the Volume with New Blog

Alma Golden, who is more often known amongst musicians as Emcee Marie, has loved music all her life.
“Since before I can remember, music has been my passion,” said Alma Golden. “For a long time I’ve wanted to create a website where people can come to browse the best equipment for music and sound, whether it’s for casual listening or garage jam sessions.”
Golden’s lifelong ambitions came to fruition with the launch of www.Golden2300.com, which went online at the beginning of 2009. Since then, Golden has worked with several different suppliers to create her ideal collection of musical instruments and sound equipment.
“When selecting products to put on the website, I always have musicians in mind,” said Golden. “While I want to appeal to people who are just looking for great stereos or accessories for their portable music device, I designed the website for musicians.”
While Golden continues to add more to her current product categories, she also has plans to expand. “Right now I just have a lot of basic equipment and accessories on the website, but I’m planning on adding turntables, sound equalizers and mixer boards soon.”
In order to communicate with other music lovers and musicians, Golden created a new blog at www.Golden2300Blog.com.
“I want the blog to be a place where musicians can come to research and discuss their instruments, as well as how to make those instruments sound great,” said Golden. “I’ll be sharing my impressions of different instruments and sound equipment, and of course talking about music.”
Golden believes her hands-on and personable approach to music will attract all kinds of musicians to her website. “While I’d hesitate to call myself a professional musician, I’m definitely a music lover,” said Golden. “Because I cater to musicians and understand their needs, I think I’m in the right position to provide them the means to make the most of their music.”
