Katherine Auger is a project manager for the trials of a promising new drug to help people with Multiple Sclerosis. Fueled by an almost obsessive pride in her work, she chooses to ignore the strange physical symptoms that she’s been experiencing and instead focuses on helping a patient stay in the trial by covering up the woman’s marijuana use. But soon the data that Katherine has falsified on behalf of the woman begins to arouse suspicions. Under increasing scrutiny from her employers, Katherine is forced to take a physical…and is diagnosed with MS. Suddenly Katherine finds herself fighting for her very existence as she loses her job, her health and her boyfriend. Without the things that had previously defined her life, Katherine must go through the painful process of rediscovering who she is.

Producer/Director George Allison is a noted scenic designer whose credits include the World Trade Center Memorial Wall and several backdrops for President Bush. He spent several years as a senior designer for ABC News working on projects ranging from World News Tonight to Good Morning America. His theatre credits include over 200 productions with companies ranging from the Vietnam Veterans Ensemble Theatre Company to Theater By The Blind.

Playwright Chuck McMahon’s credits include “Scenes From A Wake,” which was recently produced on Theatre Row, as well as several plays for the Creative Acting Festival. As an actor, he appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Edward Albee’s “All Over” with Rosemary Harris and Michael Learned, as well as the McCarter Theatre’s “Learned Ladies” and “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof” at Fleetwood Stage.

Producer/Composer Dee Sutton’s experiences inspired “The Trials Of MS. Katherine.” After years of devoting ceaseless energy in a successful career improving the lives of people with disabilities, she was ironically stricken with Multiple Sclerosis. The disease’s progressive nature eventually led to the end of professional career. Through subsequent years of health and personal hardship, she has continued her efforts to help others appreciate their own self worth.
