There are many different theories as to why he was a drug addict. Here are the ones I have read the most often in no particular order.

1. He abused drugs because like many addicts he just loved to be ‘high’.

2. He abused drugs to help him cope with the overwhelming guilt associated with sexually abusing children.

3.Occasional headaches.

What are some of the reasons that you have read about? And why couldn’t he just go to rehab to clean himself up? Serious answers only.
