Montpelier, VT (PRWEB) April 15, 2009

Martha Trowbridge Radio – Empathic Wisdom For Suffering Women launches in late April 2009.

An internet radio outreach to women whose lives are plagued by emotional and mental agonies, including depression, complicated grief, post-traumatic stress disorder, betrayal, victimization, perceived powerlessness, and marital crazy-making, the station’s programming commences with three streams. They are The Martha Trowbridge Radio Hour – Soothing Inspiration For Suffering Women; The Crazy-Making Husband Radio Show – Validation, Inspiration and Expert Advice For Wives; and, to educate, inspire, and mentor women in crisis (including financial crisis) Woman, Empowered Radio Show – Helping Women Strengthen Their Resolve, And Their Lives. The Woman, Empowered Radio Show is dedicated to the memory of eminent women’s psychologist Dr. Jean Baker Miller, Founding Director of the Jean Baker Miller Training Institute at the renowned Stone Center at Wellesley College.

Rather than delivering highly stylized, marketing-motivated shows, to listeners, MTR programs are like sitting in a quiet, private room with trustworthy, empathic, industry thought leaders. “We want to impart a sense of safety, of wise mentoring,” says Executive Producer and Host Martha Trowbridge. “We want women to know in their hearts that our sole purpose is to validate, soothe, inspire, educate, and strengthen them.”

To maximize listener benefit, show series expand upon important topics, and feature recommended readings and accompanying study guides. 2009 show series include programs on spousal emotional abuse; depression’s worthlessness, hopelessness, and psychache; compulsive eating; shopping addiction; post-traumatic stress disorder; aging grief; and anguished self-regard. ‘Growth-empowering relationships’, financial empowerment, money investment and management, and entrepreneurship comprise other series. The debut show series, spotlighting the present-day effects of damaging parenting, is ”Enlightening Evenings: A Study Of The Vital Work Of Alice Miller, M.D.”
