Market, Company ,Sector Beta?

On the yahoo finance page, for certain stocks the detailed data is not given, so i can’t find out the beta of the stock. But when i go to the “Key statistics” I am given Market Beta, Company beta and Sector Beta. What are the difference between the three? And which one is the important one, which i would be using in calculations.

First, you need to key in your stock symbol lookup. Then, click on Key statistics on the left hand panel. it will tell you the company beta. However, which one to use depends on how you interpret the number. If the company beta does not really sound right to you, look at the industry, you could either adjust the company beta toward industry or take the average. What number to use is of the science 🙂
