A friend of mine has been dating a girl for a little over a month.

She likes to smoke marijuana several times a week.
She told him that she smokes marijuana for several reasons…

To help her sleep at night.
To relax after a long day at work.
To stimulate her appetite (she recently told him that she has a eating disorder).

He really cares about her and wants to continue the relationship however he thinks that she may have an addiction to marijuana. He is willing to do all he can to keep this relationship from falling apart but they often have heated arguments around this one issue.

Questions?
Does she have an addiction problem?
Should they see a relationship counselor to help them come to a compromise?

Weed isnt addicting. Its the feeling of relaxation and forgetting worries that she is addicted too. And to be honest i would tell your friend to end it now. I honestly just got out of an 9 month relationship with a girl i really liked, mostly due to fights involving her pot smoking.
