Make Him Fall in Love Like a Romance Novel Heroine

Make Him Fall in Love Like a Romance Novel Heroine

Can you make him fall in love or does love just happen? Is there anything you can do to seal the deal and make him commit? Is there a magic love button you can push? Is there a secret to male psychology that will do the trick? These are good questions. Here are some good answers from the old romance novels.

Love at First Sight

Some say that the whole concept of “love at first sight” began with the English romantic poets and writers, who wrote compelling stories about fair maidens being swept off their feet by knights in shining armor. They say it was all just wishful thinking and that in real life, it never happens.

Never say never. It does happen and may happen to you. However, if you just sit around waiting for love, you may wait forever.

Make It Happen

While it would be wonderful for your eyes to meet for the first time across a crowded room, what if it just stopped there? Your eyes meet and there’s instant chemistry. Then he goes back to talking with his friends and you with yours and you never see each other again. When you read one of those romance novels, somebody has to do something or there wouldn’t be a story. Here are a couple of plausible plot lines:

He approaches her. She smiles demurely and, although her heart is racing, she keeps her cool and has a casual conversation with him. She bats her eyes and does a little subtle flirting, but waits for him to make the advances.
She approaches him. Seeing her opportunity slipping away, she excuses herself from her friends and walks casually past him, brushing her shoulder ever so slightly against his arm as she does so. “Oh! Excuse me! I’m so sorry!” she says, blushing, as she stares into his eyes. That’s the only opening he needs. Before long it’s as if they’re the only ones in the room.

In both of these cases, the girl is seductive, not overly aggressive. Do you know the difference? The guy doesn’t even know she is seducing him. He just feels his attraction growing. The overly aggressive woman is the “evil temptress.”

The Evil Temptress

There’s always a rival in a good romance novel. This is the girl whose ample breasts are spilling over the top of her dress. She doesn’t seduce – she attacks. For awhile, it looks like the hero is going to fall for her, but in the end, love wins out.

Believe it or not, that’s how it works out in real life, too. Men are always going to be tempted by sex and sometimes it seems like the sexiest girls always get the most guys. They may get the most guys, but they don’t keep them. If you want to be a romance novel heroine, use your charm and show him that you’re interested, but make him chase you first. This is the way to make him yours.
