Major in sociology, planning to minor in something else?

Question by mjm: Major in sociology, planning to minor in something else?
I attend community college and currently my major is sociology. I’m planning to do something in social work as a career. I want to minor in something that will benefit my career choice. Any suggestions on what my minor should be???

The type of social work i’m looking into is helping development in human rights… or counseling for drug and alcohol abused.
