Lyrica withdrawal symptoms – Chest pain?

Question by David E: Lyrica withdrawal symptoms – Chest pain?
I have been using Lyrica for fibromyalgia for 6 months. When I missed a dose I experienced severe withdrawal symptoms including high anxiety, inability to concentrate, and physical discomfort. I determined that I should wean off of it and with my Drs. permission began. Immediately I began experiencing chest pains which are now being evaluated by a cardiologist with an initial diagnosis of costochronditis. I have exercised for 33 years but cannot do more than walk across the room without chest pain. I changed nothing else when I began cutting back on my Lyrica dose. Has anyone else experienced similar chest pain/discomfort when trying to go off Lyrica?

You might find a bigger audience with Lyrica experience and fibro at ProHealth’s board:

You have to register, but there are a lot of people there who use Lyrica and have costochronditis.
