Question by Chemique: Lost: TV Series. Are these 2 very different men connected??
I was watching a show on national geographic about a man named Robert Lock who smuggled heroine from England to Taiwan. Im a big lost fan so when i hear Locke, I think about John Locke (the once paralyzed man) For those other lost fans you probably know that Mr. John Locke helped Charlie escape from his heroine addiction….

The name sake of the Lost character is actually John Locke, the 17th century English philosopher who is famous for, among other things, the concept of “tabula rasa” (also the name of the first Locke-centric Lost episode) in which a person is born with a blank mental slate in which it is molded by the individual’s thoughts and experiences. This is a central concept in the abstract of Lost.
