Listen to Me (Acoustic Version) – Kristen McNamara

Music and Lyrics by: Kmac/Blue/Cohen This is about a true life story and a song by Kristen McNamara that was written shortly after the death of her close uncle. About a year ago Kristen (American Idol Season 8) re-dedicated the song to Alex. I had this idea that her song and the footage I had of Alex 5 years before her death when she was working on her (sadly prophetic) high school senior project may tell Alex’s true life story, even if it was only a small part. Kristen and I shed many tears together (even though she was in S California and I was in the North) putting this story together because it’s not Hollywood… it’s REAL.
