Junkie Love

The film deals with the trials of living in a city, dealing with addiction, and a lack of care for fellow city dwellers. As the film has quite a clear reference to meth-amphetamine rage, the film is suited to those that have experienced or dealt with the results of this type of addiction or had to deal with the addicts in the course of living in a city. The entire sequence was shot on a Panasonic 3ccd Mini DV cam, using a Rode Video Mic. Edited exclusively in Adobe Premiere, the film is designed to have a cold hard keyed, slightly desaturated look that many junkies have. Based on a true story, the original events unfolded on a train near victoria park. The story was then adapted to work during the day and at a bus stop. The limited dialogue is representitive of the actual events If anything toned down a little. Oh, if your curious – In real life, I was the first passenger.
