Joe/Selena | Good Times Gonna Come

READ DESCRIPTION THERE’S A PLOT!!! XD – – Joe and Selena are dating. Selena loves Joe so incredibly much but there’s a problem – Joe has a drinking problem. So finally, she tells him she just can’t take it anymore, they get into a fight, and she leaves. During the first verse, Joe’s basically asking her if she really has let go of him, even after all they’ve been through. She has. But he can’t quite grasp that so he’s telling her it’s alright, even though it’s not. Then it shows Selena remembering back to when they were together, how he would come home late after a night of drinking, how hurt she would be seeing him lying in bed the next morning with a hangover. But once again, in his mind it’s alright – the blurry red clips of him show this. The second verse is showing Joe, had been so invested in her, kinda just…fell apart when she left. His drinking worsens, as it shows him just chugging away on a roof top, he almost falls off because he’s so out of it. THEN the chorus shows how they’re both lonely without each other. So Selena visits Joe. She tells him that she still loves him and wants him to quit drinking, for his own good. Then she just breaks down in front of him because it breaks her heart seeing him like this. Joe finally comes to realization that he has a problem… but does he try to quit?
