I am a 45 y/o adult, and do not do drugs, but I personally know two people who died from drugs. My 24 year old nephew, and a co-worker’s younger brother. Both were found dead from OD.

I don’t have info on global stats, but in the U.S., approximately 25% of deaths can be related to drug overuse (see weblink below).

In my opinion, it’s the highly addictive substances that are the most dangerous (opiates, crack, meth, and cocaine).
