Isn’t it feasible to think that with the right attitude, the mind can heal almost any illness?

Question by Peter: Isn’t it feasible to think that with the right attitude, the mind can heal almost any illness?
Our body does it all the time. Both drugs and natural treatments “help” the body utilise what is an absolutely stunning immune system.

Even “chronic” illness – that cannot be “cured” by any means – pharmaceutical or natural – is, in most cases, “cured” by the body eventually (as chronic often means long not lifetime)

So given the right thought process and the nessary surroundings, could the body be healing far more then we allow it to now?

Food for thought: if when we got a knee injury or a bad case of flu, we kept on going and didn’t stop playing squash 3 times a week – would we maybe damage ourselves more? Take this in the context of bigger deseases, Cancer etc and I’d be interested to know your thoughts…

I feel the body can heal itself a lot of the time as its only because people go running to the doctor for the slightest snivel that we are creating the super bug. Its the same with this whole clean nonsense. Though areas should be clear and clean all this over cleaning is making people more susceptible to bacteria. I mean there is a soap pump that you no longer have to touch to get the soap out WHY?? once you have pressed the button to get the soap out then you wash off any bacteria that may have been on the soap pump.

Though I understand where your coming from i think human intervention is needed at times especially when it comes to things like cancer sometimes the body does need a little extra help. But i don’t take pills unless i have to
