Is time to give up on him ? :( Please help im crying?

I been with my boyfriend for 9months. The first 2 months we were together he worked and payed for everything. I found out he did did crystal meth maybe a month into our relationship. He said he didn’t do it often. Well it seemed liked after he got laid off he just got really into it. I knew he did but it really didnt effect our relationship. Its been really bad for the last couple of months. he hasn’t been working. I go to his house and take care of him cause all he doing is sleeping for 3days. Or he is too high too call me out at his friends house. And when he’s coming off it he’s abusive. I tell him he needs to get his life together he has 3 kids hes 36. I am 23. He says yeah i will get a job u need to help me with my resume i say i will anytime let me know he never does. So within the last couple of weeks i found a church that i really like that has helped me a lot. And he would really like too cause there’s so many times of people and they don’t judge you. They also have a recovery center. Well anyway I told him about it. And i convinced him to go. Well the next day in morning he was acting like he didnt wanna go. He was saying nothings gonna happen watch. Well we got there and we had to wait for the next sermon that was in about 40mins and he knew that. So i told him we could just sit with his son in daycare and get some coffee. Well he wanted to go the sermon that started an hour earlier. That was only gonna last for 20 mins longer. I said no i wanted to go to the whole thing i didnt come here to go for 20mins. Well he had fit and keep saying he was leaving and made all types of exuses like it was hot it father days his day not mine. He took his son out of daycare and ran. I begged and pleaded to stay. He said no my mind is made up. I told him i dont want anything to do with him anymore if you leave and he said okay and keep walking. Does this prove he doesnt want to change? Why did he leave? Was my fault please help. I have not talked him since sunday cause his phone is off. I am sure he will call me when it on. He really broke my heart leaving me at church. I was thinking of stilling being friends with him and letting him come to church with me and call me anytime. But does he even deserve that? And he went walking hella far to his house like 1hr or more away and he couldn’t wait 20 mins.
