is this about drug addiction?

Question by Dawg the Bounty Hunter: is this about drug addiction?
I’ve been trying to recover from simultaneous adderall and xanax addictions over the past month, and I’ve been feeling withdrawals really hard. I had a dream last night that kinda scared me. I think its about being at war with myself trying to win, but i want to keep it open to other opinions.

In the dream:
I woke up in a seemingly empty warehouse, with four overhead lights turned on, fixated on where I was lying. I was wearing white sweat pants and a white t shirt, no shoes, gloves or anything else. Out of the shadows came a guy wearing black sweat pants and a white t shirt with a black “executioner” mask on, who was my size in height and weight. I instantly knew I had to fight him, and win, because I knew was here to kill me. So a fist fight started, mostly him knocking me around left and right, and knocking me down. I was barely getting any hits in, and when I did they weren’t doing much to stop him. Both being determined to stand and win, we were toe to toe throwing punches and kicks, and we both passed out from exhaustion at the same time. When I became conscious again, I crawled over to where he was lying, took off the executioner mask he was wearing, and he woke up. The other guy was me, beaten and bloody, and looking like one of the guys you see on the “never touch meth” commercials. The executioner version of me started laughing. I can’t remember anything happening next, but I woke up sweaty and pale white. The dream was in first person and the mood was kinda terrified, but motivated, because I knew that if this guy in the dream won, he would have killed me.

Yes i think it is about your addiction but you are not fighting yourself you are fighting the evil spirit of the drug itself. I think it is worthwhile to relive the dream while you are awake and beat the spirit up, it is ok to kill the spirit, in fact you should kill it in the visualization. Tell it how it messed you up and lied to you and beat it silly! Tell it how it can never harm you again and demand it give your power back then kill it. You should imagine that you fight the spirit of adderall and then fight the spirit of xanax separately. This is a complex visualization skill which I can’t explain in detail here, but to do a simple version like I have described here will benefit you and you will feel empowered and calm afterwards. I can see from the dream that you are powerful and I am sure you can beat the addiction.
