Is there support groups or laws that protect parents being abused by children?
Question by MaHaa: Is there support groups or laws that protect parents being abused by children?
I’m 35 years old, married, & raising 2 teenage step children now 15 & 17 since they were 2 & 4, and our two biological children age 2 and 7. Our 17 yo son started pushing me & grabbing me & open hand hitting me, BUT ONLY when dad is working away on business. I was so scared one night I called the police and they did not believe me…they never heard of “young parents being abused. [YOU] need professional help “…& they left! Dad had a hard time believing his son was capable of such violence perpetrated against a woman, his wife and his son’s only source of motherly love, until his best friend saw it with his own eyes. I am safe again, but need to know where are the laws that protect me and my 3 younger children. Are there any laws that protect parents from being abused by their chidlren…despite our ages? PLEASE, can someone link me to any laws that can protect me? In the USA, and CT inparticular. Thank you for listneing! I appreciate ANY response!

You need to speak with someone at adult protective services at your local social services department.Seriously you need to take your other 3 children and get away from him if possible or you can file charges at your local magistrate office for assault and battery. If he is verbally abusive also, purchase a voice sensitive tape recorder and record his abuse on tape and play it to your husband.Children have killed their parents. You must take action.Your husband is a foolish man.
