Is it possible to feel strange physical “pain” or discomfort inside the heart when it’s HEALING from damage?
Question by Clever Munchkin: Is it possible to feel strange physical “pain” or discomfort inside the heart when it’s HEALING from damage?
More like sort of a sharp ticklish kind of pain, not really a pain where it full on hurts and not talking about emotional sadness or a vehicle accident, nothing like that. Say a person’s heart is damaged from some kind of Heart Disease or long term heart damage from drinking, smoking, etc or just plain neglect and the person stops everything, begins taking natural supplements good for the heart and the heart begins to heal. Can pinching, sharp pain or any kind of “pain” or discomfort usually associated with heart “problems” happen when the heart is healing like this?
Hey I_was_myself,
What do you mean that there won’t be any difference in feeling unless it affects the blood flow to neighboring tissue? Are you talking about that there may be problems with blood not flowing properly to OTHER organs close to the heart? If so, then why would there be “pain” or discomfort feeling directly IN the heart? I mean if it’s healing, there shouldn’t be any pain at all, right? Could it not be the heart and be the valves? Then if that’s the case, is there something wrong with the valves not getting the blood through? Man, I would really like an answer to this. It’s a strange question, I know.
Hi Aziz,
How long of time would the individual have to stop whatever they did to still be considered going through withdrawal? What if it was like 10 to 15 years from doing bad stuff? Would it still be possible to feel these “pain” symptoms after all that time? This would be as the heart is healing, not being hurt any longer.

There are very few nerves for sensation below the skin and none in the heart. You won’t feel any difference unless it affects the blood flow to neighboring tissue.

some persons who stop alcohol and smoke used to get such symptoms when they stop, it may last for a while, it is more seen with drug users, it is not a healing pain, it can be attributed to withdrawal of the substance.
