It’s probably a dumb question. But I started drinking everclear (190 proof) like every other night for the last 2 months. And now if I try to not drink it, I start feeling horrible. Like sick and I get all shaky and my head starts pounding. But if I start drinking, I feel fine again.
Is it possible my body is addicted to alcohol?

Yes, we do get physically addicted to alcohol, that’s why alcoholics find it so hard to quit. When you don’t drink you feel so horrible because you experience withdrawal. If I were you I would talk to a dr about the best way to quit. Good luck!
