In brief: Pitt OKs budget with tuition increases
The University of Pittsburgh Board of Trustees Budget Committee on Friday approved a .889 billion university operating budget for the 2011 fiscal year. The budget provides for tuition increases ranging from 2.5 percent for students at the university’s four regional campuses, including Pitt-Johnstown, to 5.5 percent for in-state students at the main campus.
