I’m in love with a married woman, what should I do?
Question by Jesse E: I’m in love with a married woman, what should I do?
When I was 19, I fell in love with a girl who lived two states away. We were together for several months and we loved each other very much. I went to visit her twice and stayed a while both times, and I asked her to marry me. I moved back to my home state, and after a few long-distance fights about an unplanned pregnancy that she ended up terminating, we weren’t able to hold on and we broke up.
That was six years ago. I have since been married, and divorced.. and in a few other relationships. But after all this time, I have never found in anyone else what I felt for her then. I have not spoke to her for six years until a few days ago.
She is now married, but separated while her husband is in treatment for drug abuse. She has very strong values and absolutely does not believe in divorce, yet she admits that she does not love him, does not believe he loves her.. and furthermore, the only reason for their marriage was because of an unplanned pregnancy.
After several phone conversations, there is still chemistry between us, and I know she loves me… I let this wonderful woman slip away before and have much regrets about that, what am I to do?

I think that you need to back off. Despite your feelings for each other, she’s married. That should be hand’s off
