Question by lover of life: I’m I the only one pissed that the media is sensationalizing this Ted Williams homeless guy story?
Let’s be real here! He’s still an addict. I don’t think it’s wrong to say it, because he is. The media is acting like it’s all cute happy ending without getting this man the proper treatment! maybe even counseling!? WTF?!?!

We all like happy endings, but I feel the media is portraying Ted Williams as this redeemed man, when they may not be the reality of the situation. He’s still human, and he is recovering from an addiction. Recovery doesn’t take 2 years or even 10 years. Recovery will most likely be the rest of his life.

I just don’t feel like people understand…

Like when T.I. was supposed to go to jail, then shortened his sentence because he was doing that show on MTV to “redeem” himself… NO! if it was anyone… ANYYYONE else, that wouldn’t fly.
So he “redeemed” himself,
only to go back to jail a few months after he got out.
