The only friends I’ve got are those whom I drink alcohol with. I don’t want to go in rehab and then go out suddenly friendless. Any thoughts about this?

It looks as if you’re ready to change for the better. You mentioned alcohol rehab and it seems as if you really want to be sober now. Don’t worry about your friends. You’ll meet friends in rehab, and when you get out, you’ll make new ones. Your old friends will have to understand that you’re building a new life for yourself. Hanging around them when you get out of rehab will only probably get you to relapse. Relax. You’re doing the right thing by getting yourself treated. Friends will come, don’t worry.
