I’m addicted to Excedrins and I cant stop taking them!!?

Question by Stargazer: I’m addicted to Excedrins and I cant stop taking them!!?
This is going to make me look like a disturbed person but I dont know what to do. I have an addiction to Excedrin. I’ve been taking them since around 1995. I chew them & swallow so I can taste the bitterness of the aspirin because it reminds me of the bitter taste of cocaine. (I had a cocaine habit back in 1983/1984.) Excedrins also have caffeine & the “up” feeling of them also remind me of the effect I got when I used cocaine. I also smoke alot of cigarettes when I use Excedrins, just like I did when I sniffed coke. I no longer sniff coke but years ago I had an off & on addiction to painkillers. I dont take those anymore either.

I’m afraid of what damage I’m doing to myself, if I havent done extensive damage already, but I JUST CANT QUIT TAKING THE ASPIRINS & CANT QUIT SMOKING EITHER!!

I need help, can someone please help or advise me? I’ve been to rehabs before and NA also. I even told my doctor but she didnt send me to a rehab, she just said “stop taking them”, but I CANT!!!
