if there was a way to make money and insure people regardless of pre existing conditions why hasnt anyone done?

Question by sadcryingclowninironlung: if there was a way to make money and insure people regardless of pre existing conditions why hasnt anyone done?
it? if it not possible to do this and make money, who will be getting ripped off when insurance companies are forced to do this? and when people who want to pay for insurance but dont want to include pre existing conditions arent allowed to do so, will costs for insurance go up? that is what happened when state governments started pandering to special interest groups. they made drug rehab coverage mandatory, or cancer coverage. what if I wanted coverage but not of those things. what if i didnt use drugs or have a history of cancer? well too bad for me i have to pay for it. so prices went up. then people started dropping insurance. and now the government wants to fix the problem again? i am very wary.
the right is wrong- before medicare insurance companies werent necessary to see doctors for routine visits. medicare subsidized the care for the elderly. so more of them saw doctors for non life threatening issues.so the demand for doctors went up. but medicare also burdened doctors with regulations, paperwork, an influx of new patients, and finding ways around the red tape to treat patients. so the supply of doctors went down. when demand goes up and supply goes down prices go up. that is why doctors used to make house calls on a days notice, see several members of the family in one visit, and it was afforded with only one person working in the family and paid in cash out of pocket. medicare distorted the market and made it so expensive insurance became necessary to see doctors. i also explained how state mandates then made insurance more expensive. government caused the problem in both areas.

Why ask if there is a way for insurance companies to make money? Who cares about them? Doctors are they ones that need to get paid. Insurance companies are the problem. Let’s eliminate them
