how much time would a person get off if they are serving a 66 month bid. please only positive answers

Usually if a sentence recommendation is reduced by a new statute, any sentence outside the new parameters is reviewed.
Anything within the new parameters is left as is. That would require the convict to appeal his sentence or wait for a parole hearing and table the issue at that time.
