I am not a drug user, but my friend sometimes uses various drugs. He’s not an addict, but I think he may become one soon. This is very serious and I’m seeking information to understand this. I’m an adult professional and do not need to hear about ditching drug using friends. Most of my friends do not use any drugs.

He used to buy cocaine every couple of months and spend about 0! Now, he is buying crack-cocaine. He says it’s MUCH cheaper and stronger. I have googled as much a I can, but I can’t figure this out.

Crack (which is cheaper ) is made from cocaine (which is more expensive.) Crack is stronger and produces more of a “high.”

So, how is it that you can take an expensive substance (cocaine), modify it, and create a cheaper, stronger, more addictive substance?

All information appreciated. I am very worried.

Cocaine is a “party drug” and crack, every time you smoke it takes 2 months of your life
