Do you believe someone who had orthopdic surgery such as knee replacement for example, was subsequently prescribed narcotic analgesics, followed his doctor’s instructions as to how to take and subsequently became addicted to the meds., is now sinning as he continues to crave the substances he became addicted to through no fault of his own?

i would find myself wondering if this person had abused the drugs they were on, though.
