Its more of a mental addiction than a physical one. U wont get sick from quitting weed like other drugs but u will get moody.

While marijuana is not physically addictive, people can become psychologically addicted to it. Mental addictions are bitches, but not nearly as bad (or hard to break) as a physical one. In other words, you don’t need to go to some rehab center for this or anything, nor will you become ill when you stop. Just stop buying the stuff, stop hanging around with your friends who do it, and have some Tylenol handy for the mild headaches that will come in the first couple weeks. Really, though, marijuana “addiction” is absolutely nothing. Just stop buying the stuff.

“A small minority of Americans – less than 1 percent – smoke marijuana on a daily basis. An even smaller minority develop a dependence on marijuana. Most people who smoke marijuana heavily and frequently can stop without difficulty. Marijuana does not cause physical dependence. If people experience withdrawal symptoms at all, they are remarkably mild.”
