I need Medicinal Marijuana?
Question by : I need Medicinal Marijuana?
I want to know how I can get medicinal marijuana, I have been smoking marijuana for about 2 years now, the last year I have been smoking everyday. I think the reason I like smoking it so much is because it makes me feel better, like when I am sober I usually feel kind of depressed and not in a good mood ever, I barley feel like eating only when I get really hungry but when I smoke marijuana I am never depressed anymore, I was thinking how I could get a medical card, would I be able to get one by telling my doctors I get less depressed?
Oh and I live in Canada by the way it is legal, I know a couple guys that have one.

It depends on your doctor and if you live in a area where it is legal.

well, if it can be prescribed in Canada as an appetite stimulant, you could talk to a doctor about that, however he may decide to prescribe you other medication because of the controversy around the program, the doctor may approach the situation as they would an opiate user trying to get a prescription for opiates, in that they may hesitate due to the chance you may misuse your prescription, thus adding someone to the system that is trying to “abuse” it, and making it even more under fire, not saying that you would do that, but that may be their thinking if they figure out you already smoke everyday.
If you are going to try and get it on the depressed when sober issue, they may just instead advise you to stop smoking for a while and see if it tapers off. You have a very low chance of getting a medical marijuana card based on these issues, sorry.
have a good day,
