I have to do a project on edgar allan poe and i need a good website that has good background information on it and it gives me the style of writing he used in his POETRY. Thanks!

Believe it or not, the Wikipedia article on him is pretty good. You have to be careful with info regarding Poe. It is difficult to find good material. He was a harsh critic (merciless) during his literary career and made a number of professional enemies. It is rumored that much of the infamy that followed his death was initiated by those who didn’t appreciate his criticism. It is very sad as most of the “reported” activities he was involved in are sensational today, but would’ve been the worst of insults during his lifetime. There’s everything out there, from his “opium addiction” to reports that he murdered several women. It’s nuts.
I’m leaving a few links. I read about Poe for years and, as far as anyone knows, he never had a drug issue. Some do believe he was an alcoholic, but even that was speculation. He was adopted at around 1 by the Allan family of Richmond, VA. He was a bright and athletic youth, excelled at swimming, but he did have an attitude (of course, he was Poe). He is often reported as marrying his cousin, but they weren’t biologically related. Virginia was reported to be a mature young lady and an amazing pianist. Poe adored music. He said it was a “glimpse into the afterlife.” His literary career was pretty much a failure.
He was found incoherent in Boston four days before his death. He never recovered. There are just as many theories about what happened here, one I’ve found involves politics. Oftentimes back then, dubious politically minded individuals would get a person’s vote by intoxicating them and taking them to vote, either by drug or drink. Some of the drugs used were quite lethal when used erroneously.

Once it is, shape it into an oval type capsule for easy swallowing. To help it kick in faster I recommend drinking two large glasses of some kind of Hot liquid, like hot chocolate or even just powdered juice made with hot water.
