I have some Questions

I am troubled by the fact, that only some cursory info is coming out regarding the situation in Mexico. There is virtually no background information on anything, no historical analysis of any kind, and everything we hear via the mainstream news concerns the WAR ON DRUGS once again. Surely, the situation is much more complicated than this…. I do not believe that this is simply a ‘war’ between various gang-lords protecting their own turf – although THIS is how it being portrayed in the US media. The war on drugs on Columbia and South-America was NEVER about drugs per se, but about the financing of political interests. Same thing, in Afghanistan. Everyone knows, that the CIA + other intelligence agency are involved in this… So, what is going on? The re-negotiations regarding NAFTA are extremely important for ALL of us, all ordinary citizens, not to mention bigger plans regarding the super-highways, without any oversight, new tri-lateral agreements… I want to make it very clear, that I am not talking about some meth-labs set up in some garage, or people growing weed in their back yards. I am talking about a huge industry, with bank accounts in Switzerland and elsewhere, with major banks involved via money laundering and so on – in other words, the BIG players, not some little franchise. And WHO is actually benefiting from this so-called war on drugs? As usual, you have the supply and demand side of this argument, but I believe the question is not so much about drugs per …
