How to tell which drug he is on?

Question by Brittany L: How to tell which drug he is on?
Friend has had problems with both Xanax addiction and heroin addiction in past. I can easily tell when he is on drugs but I don’t know enough about them to determine which he is on. I’ve looked up the “signs” for both and they are very similar: falling asleep, disorientation, slurred speech, etc. He won’t admit to anything. Any way for me to know which one I’m dealing with?

Check his arms for needle marks. If he smokes heroin instead of mainlining then it’ll be harder to detect. If he has no track marks on his arms, check in between his toes and fingers, trust me heroin addicts are devious as hell and they’ll inject their toes so nobody see’s track marks on their arms. Some people even inject directly into the eye, but this is probably noticeable.
