You’ll need less alcohol for a lunch party than for a cocktail or dinner party. Warning: Don’t drink unless you’re of legal age. Drink responsibly, and never drink and drive. Step 2: Make a guest list. Who and how many you invite will determine what types of alcohol and how much to buy. Step 3: Decide how much alcohol to serve. As a rule of thumb, allow two drinks per guest for the first hour of your party, and one drink per guest for each additional hour.
