If it is made legal even just for medical purposes people who are afraid to use marijuana because it is illegal, and use prescription drugs for many different ailments will now try it and find out it works for a wide range of things. Will the drug companies now become pot farmers? If they already already haven’t started to in projection of legalization.

And if it was made legal for purely medicinal purposes, people would still be buying it for illegal use because not one in a hundred users have a legitimate need for it.
