Question by CS: How long will a withdraw if I quit pain killers cold turkey?
I decided tommorrow im gonna stop pain killers cold turkey its the only way for me to quit. I have experienced the with withdrawal before and its like have the flu it sucks. But I gotta do it I was wondering how long am I gonna feel like crap for?
how long you think it will be until I can go back to work because im gonna take off a few days because I know im gonna feel horrible.

I was on morphine and it took about two weeks to get completely back to normal. The cold sweat and nightmares were the worst part.

I think it will depend on how long you have been on the pain killers, honestly. You might want to take 3 days off over a weekend. Should be enough time to get you to work for 8 hours. It really will depend on you.
