Question by Bumble: How long does it take to get physically addicted to alcohol?
Just wondering. I know you can get mentally addicted to anything right away but I want to know about physically addicted to alcohol and would happens if your physically addicted and then stop drinking right away.. can you die?

It depends upon the person in regard to how long it takes to get “physically addicted.” It ii usually a relatively short period of time if you are drinking on a regular basis. If you stop drinking when you are an addict, it will not kill you; however, if you have underlying medical conditions it may aggravate those. If you are truly an alcoholic it is best to go to a rehabilitation center where you can receive medical supervision. Detox is very mentally and physically painful.
