How long do different drug highs last?

Question by zeebus: How long do different drug highs last?
I’ve personally only ever tried alcohol. And from the first sip until my buzz takes about 1/2 hour. Then the buzz lasts as long as I keep drinking. But how long does it take to get a buzz from cocaine or meth or heroin, and how long do the highs last?
PS – I’m NOT going to do drugs of any kind, I have no interest. I simply want to know how fast the highs come and how long they last. I think it’s interesting how different drugs affect you in different ways.
