Question by Allison: how fast can hiv become aids?
I know the average, but how fast, at the fastest, is hiv likely to become aids, and what’s the prognosis after that? I ask because my best friend says his cell count is at aids level after only four years of having hiv, but that his viral load is undetectable because he just started medication. He tends to blow things out of proportion sometimes, but he did smoke meth for a while while he was sick, and didn’t get treatment until now. So could he be telling the truth?
