Question by JonJon: How Do You Stay Motivated To Make Money After Becoming Sober?
An individual at a 12 step meeting asked me last night how to stay motivated about anything in life after sobering from alcohol and drugs. Apparently money is not a motivator to him, and after losing his carrot of his substance abuse, he doesn’t feel the need to do well and make a living. So how does one get a new burning desire for life, paying bills, etc?

Join a sport team, find a hobby etc. Everyone has interests and passions. Mine is surfing and it has kept me out of trouble and gave me something to live for.
