my mother has been an alcoholic for 15 years now. i am really worried about her health and i feel like i need to do something to help her but i just dont know what to do or where to start. my funds are also limited. we live in northern california. any advice is appreciated.

Tell her she is an alcoholic and that getting help is the only acceptable course of action. When she tells you that she is not, tell her all the horrible effects her drinking has had on you.

If she still won’t get help tell her to call you in 20 years.
