Question by caitie rose: how do you go about putting someone in rehab for alcohol when they are on probation for alcohol related issues?
my brother is 30 years old.. i am 22. i moved him out to nevada to live with me , i thought i could help him. he has gotten a dui in my car 8 months ago and has not had a job for a year. he is completely dependent on me. i am fed up.
alchohol is a huge factor in why he has not accomplished anything in the past 10 years.. he has nothing. he needs help.

I would call his probation officer and ask them. I’m guessing that laws are different in each state, so to be on the safe side, contact the probation officer.
Help him, but have limits on your helping. You have a life to live, too, remember.
