How do you get through to a friend who is using drugs?

Question by C: How do you get through to a friend who is using drugs?
I know for a fact that he is using marijuana & cocaine. There are rumors that he has used crack cocaine a few times and even heroine.

I have tried to talk to him about it, but he just gets defensive and all p*ssed off.
