Im looking how to become a drug and alcohol counselor or substance abuse counselor in CA. I want to know if you can just do a community college certificate program or if i have to get an associtates degree or even a bachelor degree.

well most of those ppl have had substance abuse problems them selfs. So i would say you start hitting the pipe!
