How do i tell my husband i have a drinking problem? Serious answers only please!!?
Lately i have found my self drinking alot like 4days or more a week 8-10 beers alone in my house. today i have made a decision to stop. i have been drinking since i was 15 i am 31 now. i have never went a long time without drinking except for my two pregnancies. once iu start i can’t stop(drinking) i drink until i get drunk and then some. i would like to sit with my husband today when comes but im ashame to admit it to him and tell him i need help.

My husband is wonderful man. been married for 8years. he doesn’t drink except on occasions to a limit. forgot to mentioned that iam bipolar and off my meds to drink.

He knows you have a problem. You think you’re hiding it but you aren’t. You say he’s a wonderful man—–so go sit down and tell him. You will feel SO much better about yourself. And then he can help you.

The bad thing about being bipolar and not getting counseling, too, is that when the medications work, you begin to believe that you really don’t need the medication. You think you’re fine—but it’s not true.

Please talk to your husband. He knows something is terribly wrong and is so worried about you. He will be so relieved when you tell him.
