Question by Cobra Kai Johnny Lawrence: How do I help a friend with a severe drinking problem, who doesn’t want help?
He drinks all day and night, and skips work just to drink. I think he may be experimenting with other drugs also. We’ve tried to help him a few times, he just keeps drinking and says he doesn’t want to stop.

You can’t help him unless he decides to help himself. Also, the worse feeling on earth is powerlessness over a situation, which is what you are going through right now. There are Al-Non meeting to help people who do not drink, cope with people that do. They could help you cope with this situation, and by helping yourselves, you can probably help him.
