Question by Mama Dukes: How do I get my daughter to quit crying wolf?
My daughter (will be 3 in December) has been crying wolf lately. She will be sitting in her room playing and all of sudden she’ll scream “HELP!! HELP!!” I will go rushing in there and she’ll look at me and say “Hey Mama!” She doesn’t really need help. She will also climb behind/under/on top of her bed/chair/couch and yell “I’m stuck! I’m stuck” but she isn’t really stuck and can get out by herself.
How can I get her to quit crying wolf? I would hate to ignore her yells one day and find that she really did need help.

Teach her the difference between an emergency and her just wanting your attention.
