how do i fix a lazy eye?

Question by shoom: how do i fix a lazy eye?
im pretty sure it was caused by substance abuse (methamphetamine) ive quit all the drugs, and im just wondering how i can fix my eye.
ive heard of using glasses and eyepatches to fix it, but i dont want an eyepatch (for obvious reasons) and theres nothing wrong with my vision, so i dont need glasses. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you mean by lazy eye, your eye is crossed or misaligned and you have double vision, you might have adult onset Strabismus caused by drugs. You do not have lazy eye aka Ambyopia, which is also a defect generally found in early childhood where simplistically, the brain does not send proper signals to the eye causing poor vision.

Patching does not generally cure crossed eyes, though eye exercises, corrective lenses and surgery might help. However, you really need to see an ophthalmologist or optometrist to find your best options. You could do more damage by trying to do eye exercises etc. not recommended by a doctor.
