The love of my life was recently admitted to rehab for drug usage (heroin) amongst other issues. He is not/was not severely addicted, however, I am concerned that he may relapse or I will be unable to remain strong enough for us both. I know it’s up to him to recover and make ammends (after repetatively lying despite my concerns and inquiries) but I was wondering what advice anybody can offer? How do I ensure the addiction and lies will not occur again? and how much action do I take? Shouldn’t he be doing all the work? Where do I draw the line of intervention?
